It was during his junior and senior year of high school, while dj’ing on his high school radio station, that Robb (aka DJ Elevation) found his love for dance music. Starting out promoting in legendary NYC nightclubs Limelight and Tunnel, as well as the infamous Freight Yard in Allentown PA Robb was introduced to Raves and the sounds of underground techno. As promoting led Robb to more underground events he formed his own production company “Total Elevation “(T-E). Total Elevation quickly began promoting for some of the biggest and best events in the North Eastern United States. Meanwhile, under his DJ moniker “DJ Elevation“, Robb also started playing out at house parties and small raves. DJ Elevation’s sound did not go unnoticed and quickly led to bookings at some of the biggest parties in the North East including events at the Limelight (NYC) and Roseland Ballroom (NYC) for production companies like Uptown Underground, Translucent, Local 13, and Digital Domain.

Starting out playing Trance, DJ Elevation soon found a love for Techno. Now after a 4 year hiatus from the DJ circuit, DJ Elevation is back with a new appreciation for the music that got all of this started back in 1994. DJ Elevation has teamed up with the BSP radio to spread his love for Techno and Tech-House around the globe.

DJ Elevation co-hosts Sound Function Radio with Bryson every Friday here on BSP Radio. Sound Function features the top Techno DJs and producers from around the globe. Be on the look out for big things with DJ Elevation and Sound Function in 2011. T-E nuff said!

Hey Rob I don’t know if you are the rob I have been emailing back and forth regarding our tracks from Dance Lab Recordings???? If not I was wondering if you guys had a listing of all the music you will be adding to rotation? Sorry if you are the one I have been speaking with I didn’t know there were two robs. Let us know if you will be using any of our track and we hope you like them. Looking forward to hearing from you guys.
